I'm sorry.

No less than a dozen times a day, I have to choose not to cry (tear in eyes, cry in the back of the throat, those muscles by ears tightening and twinging -- and a clenched jaw trying to smother it out like a fire).  Other times, I don't get to choose, but this isn't about those.

Every time I fight not to cry, I feel so bad, like I'm ignoring her.  And THAT makes my eyes well up.

This uplifting message brought to you by unsubscribing my mom from the Eddie Bauer mailing list.  MY MOM.
